Boys & Girls….. Let’s talk about love today. It’s the most exciting feeling and the most anticipated event in the early part of life.

“Falling in love” seems to be a logical thing. After all love is a beautiful feeling. Right?

Yes. Partially right because love is a beautiful feeling, a positive feeling. But partially wrong, because “falling” is a negative action.

When sensex falls, people lose money. When things fall, they are damaged(broken). When expectations fall, disappointment strikes. When we fall, we get hurt.

So why fall in love?

The word falling in dictionary means:

1.move from a higher to a lower level, typically rapidly and without control.

2.(of a person) lose one's balance and collapse.

This is why a large number of love relationships are marred with feelings of jealousy, control, insecurity, doubt, obsession, restrictions, fear of loss. Because when you fall, you have very little control. You are largely inactive. Reactive.

It’s time to be more aware and replace “falling” with “rising” in love. Yes, time to “Rise in Love”. Cause when you rise, you make conscious effort to go beyond gravity. The gravity of negative emotions that pulls you down. Rising needs caution, ample preparation, considerations, projections, evaluations and constant improvisations to finally defy gravity and take off. And then you RISE.

And that my lovelies, is truly a beautiful feeling.

So next time when you hear someone telling “they have fallen in love” or “I am falling in Love”. You may want to share this little piece of my input.

In case you have something to contribute about the occasion when you truly felt rising in love, do share. We will be inspired.

Until then,
